The further development of the TI-Expo + Conference has been a success

Düsseldorf – The TI-Expo + Conference has proven to be a holistic event for fabricators and insulators. At the same time, the event also reached specialist planners, architects, energy consultants and facility managers, who increasingly need to focus on achieving energy efficiency, CO2 reduction and operational safety through improved technical insulation.

Around 60 exhibitors presented their products and services at the TI-Expo in the Areal Böhler. Live workshops were added to the trade fair programme: well-known industry influencers Todor Gajanovic ("Sheet Metal Workshop" on YouTube) and Graeme Bell ("Insulation-Master-Class" on Facebook), supported by Schwartmanns, held live sheet metal and insulation workshops, passing on their expertise to visitors to the TI-Expo + Conference.

The TI Conference was integrated into the trade fair, with presentations focussing on practical information, current developments and new regulations. The open conference, which was free of charge for TI-Expo visitors, worked well and the division of the TI-Conference programme into two parts was well received: On the first day, the programme was aimed at insulators, while the second day primarily addressed architects and planners. The conference was well attended on both days.

The managing directors of trade fair organisers AFAG, Henning and Thilo Könicke, are satisfied with the further development of the event: "The new format for the TI-Expo + Conference has been found. The combination of trade fair offerings and knowledge transfer, the content concept and the location and setting have harmonised well. With this framework, the TI-Expo + Conference has the potential to become firmly established in the industry and the biennial cycle for the event has also proved its worth."

The next TI-Expo + Conference will take place in March 2026 at Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf. The TI-Expo + Conference is organised by trade fair organiser AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen and RM Rudolf Müller Medien, publisher of the trade magazine "TI - Technische Isolierung".
